Saturday 8th November - walks *** – Sunrise along Felixstowe prom and Felixstowe Ferry – sunny periods.

Walk 1 – Sunrise Prom.

I was going to stay in bed as I had missed Mag going on her early walk but I decided to head down to take some sunrise pics of the large poppies onn the prom for the TV weather as it’s Remembrance weekend and was pleased I did. I was greeted by a band of wispy red so headed just past the pier to watch the sunrise and it was lovely and once again got some nice pics, none of which made it onto the tv:( I went home to sort out my pics over a hot honey and lemon before completing the usual word games. I had just enough time to do my exercises before our hairdresser, the lovely Sue turned up to perm Mag and cut Maeva, her dad and my hair, always a good morning! Then a relaxing afternoon of music vidoes and a little rugby with yummy homemade soup followed by two lots of fruit loaf!

Walk 2 – Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club Fireworks.

After tea I decided to drive down to Felixstowe Ferry as the sailing club were letting off fireworks advertised for 7 so I left home early at 6.20 as I did not know where they were being let off??? I parked near the chapel and had just passed the Ferryboat when the first fireworks were let off around 6.30. I quickly set-up on Millennuim Green and got a few pics, I did very nearly miss them, loads of other people were not so lucky missing the display completely, there were lots of unhappy people with some angry comments on the sailing club Facebook page, a real mess up:( Mag was very surprised to see me home at 6.50!!!
